You’ve got a great point there, MJ. The cops were awfully nice to these two. How nice they would have been to a black couple in a similar situation is questionable, although, in that area, they probably are used to dealing with a lot of tourists. No doubt it fosters a different mindset than working in an urban setting. Also, it was in Utah where people tend to be more polite in general.
