You make a strong case, Andrew. I don’t see anything that drastic happening unless something bigger happens first: alien invasion, zombie apocalypse, World War III. What’s interesting is that we haven’t had any assassinations like we did in the 1960s, and I don’t believe it’s because security has gotten so much better. I think it’s because most of us are smart enough to know that nothing an ordinary individual does is going to change much, and it’s not worth the price you’ll pay for trying.
