Yikes! I’m glad things worked out in the end. I’m a big believer in long engagements. My husband proposed to me in 1977, but since we were still in college and didn’t know where life would take us, we didn’t get married until after we graduated in 1980 and lived together for 3 years. We recently celebrated our 37th anniversary.
