Yes. It's called White Fragility. I've seen people online, typically college-educated white people, accept everything in it as fact rather than opinion. The basic premise is that all white people are racist whether they know it or not and will never really be able to overcome it. However, not everyone in academia feels that way. From NPR: "Columbia University professor and linguist John McWhorter, who is Black, echoes that criticism, writing in The Atlantic that the book "openly infantilized Black people" and "simply dehumanized us."
