Writing series fiction puts a writer in the golden handcuffs, Darryl. I know how impatient I get when one of my favorite authors isn’t churning out at least a book a year. I’m a seat-of-the-pants writer, but I wouldn’t attempt a series without at least an outline of the other books. It must be an awful lot of pressure. (And if Annie, your biggest fan shows up, you’re in a world of hurt.)
