Wow, Shannon! I too have been unfriended on FB recently, once for being too conservative and once for being too progressive. It’s a crazy time for sure. I’m curious. You said this “church" was in Minnesota. Is your old friend originally from the South or did she move there and embrace the “y’all”? My sister grew up in upstate New York and has lived in Georgia for over 40 years and still talks the same as she always did. She nearly had a fit when her daughter said she was “fixin’" to do something.
