When grandmas started getting tattoos, it stopped being cool. Families all go together and get them as “bonding experiences.” If one of my four sisters ever suggested we all go get matching tattoos, the rest of us would haul them in for a psychiatric evaluation. We are definitely not THAT family. I’d rather stand out by being good at something than by marking my skin. But hey, that’s me.
