What’s the Biggest Thing Wrong with America? Americans

Helpless and hopeless never got anybody a date on Saturday night

Billionaires are the Great Satan! This administration is either incompetent or corrupt or both! People are binging on hate and voting against their best interests!

So who’s ruining the country? Is it evangelical Christians, communists, socialists, police officers, white supremacists, transphobics, atheists, vegetarians, or schoolteachers? That depends on who you ask.

It’s also social media, the 24-hour news cycle, people who buy water in disposable bottles, and athletes disrespecting our flag. Yup, that’s the problem right there. If we could get rid of those things and those people, everything would be free bubble-up and rainbow stew.

Bullshit. It’s all of us. We, the people, have lost our way. We’ve sacrificed our responsibilities as citizens on the altar of our rights while billionaires play Flash Gordon and politicians play chicken. Truman had it wrong. The buck stops with us, and we’re looking for an ATM.
