What a monster we’ve created with social media. We think Victorian society was stifling, but this is worse. When people run afoul of the internet gods, there’s no hole anywhere in the world deep enough to hide themselves in. The lies and disinformation are always out there to be uncovered again and again. What an awful time it is to be a celebrity, even a minor one.
