We're psychic twins, Allison. I couldn't have said it better myself. I never liked Madonna's persona. When she writhed around on her mother's grave in Truth or Dare I realized there was nothing she wouldn't do for shock value.

She's not being criticized for being an old woman who's "had some work done." Nobody gives Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda, or Cher grief for that and they're all older than she is. Madonna gets grief because she's not a nice person and because she didn't know when to stop.

She reminds me of Mae West in her old age. The difference is, Mae was in on the joke.
