We seem to use the platform differently. I don't come across much that I would consider trash because I have my favorite writers and publications that have high standards and I usually stick to reading those. I've made great friends here, some of whom I talk to on the phone or by email.

I generally ignore Medium's suggestions on what I should read and seek out topics that interest me.

It's nice to see that everything that's wrong with Medium hasn't discouraged you from writing here or put the tiniest dent in your robust ego. Is that a royal "we" or do you have a syndicate?
