Van living is not for me. I saw Nomadland and wanted to slit my wrists. I love my little cottage and my garden. I like being in plays and seeing my friends. But, to each his/her/their own. I also love to travel, but a bed and a bathroom have to figure into it. I did the whole hiking, backpacking, camping thing when I was younger. I hated then and I can't imagine I'd like it any better now. I'm glad you found your happy place. I've found mine, too. There's no wrong way to live as long as you're content.
