Unrealistic expectations lead to disappointment. Power corrupts and sometimes, a TV show is just a TV show. But don't assume women writers will make everything better. For all the hands raised for #metoo, there were plenty of enablers who kept silent because they were of age, knew they didn't gave to comply, but so did willingly to advance their careers. I've seen some pretty mysogynistic stuff written by women. Why? It sells.
