Two wrongs don't make a right, Jude. You can't fight transphobia with ageism. Your essay has little merit because you never go beyond the charge that the comedians you mention are just trying to stay relevant. It fails to acknowledge the history and purpose of comedy and the strides that comedians who started in that era made to making comedy more than slapstick and funny faces. Thanks to them, it became socially relevant.
