The way most boys become abusers is by watching their mothers be abused. I’d be very surprised if Louis has ever seen his father raise a hand to his mother. Even if he did, that’s no guarantee he would treat women the same way. Some boys whose mothers were victims of domestic violence make it a point to treat women well.
