They just gave me $100 for the same reason. I’ve been on Medium for a little over a year and have published over 240 stories. My best performing story has earned me about $1,600 so far. Since I started in March 2020, I’ve only had two months where I earned less than $100. I recently hit 1,600 followers. Two thousand followers isn’t small. Most people here have far fewer.
