There seems to be a general lack of understanding among the general population about how things work and how one thing impacts another. Gas prices go up and people blame the president or one political party. Biden did nothing to raise the gas prices and Trump did nothing to keep them low. They just happened to be in office at the time. If inflation continues, the Republicans will prevail because people are so damn stupid.
