There are certain writers on this platform (who shall remain nameless) whose fans will ruthlessly attack anyone who so much as questions the proclamations of their Precious Ones.

Somebody called me a Karen once when there was absolutely nothing in my comment to suggest I was one. It’s clear they saw my photo and figured it must be true. Other writers attempt to make every subject they tackle controversial (aka click worthy) by finding a way to work race, gender, politics, religion, etc. into the story. Sometimes I think it’s pointless to call these people out because they don’t necessarily believe what they’re saying, they’re just saying it to pump reads and responses.
