Maybe you know, and maybe you don’t
Are you sitting on a gold mine? If you have a collection of comic books printed between 1938 and 1987, you might be. If you purchased them at or near their cover prices decades ago and treated them well, it’s worth your while to go on a treasure hunt.
Anything printed after 1987 is probably not worth as much as the cover price, but there are exceptions, so check anyway.
If you haven’t been keeping up with the soaring price increases of certain issues, or if you inherited a collection from a friend or relative, you could be in for a pleasant surprise, possibly even a shock.
