The #notallmen thing strikes me as “methinks thou doth protest too much.” While I don’t think most men assault women, you can damn well bet most stood by at some time or other while someone else did or failed to speak out against some guy bragging about sexual assault. Men like Harvey Weinstein don’t just have a momentary failing. Assault is a habit with them. They get away with it when the “good” men and women stand by and say nothing.
