That's what you saw because, like me, you are viewing the incident through the lens of your past experience. I've had a lot of experience with mentally ill and autistic people, you say you have not. Your assumption is that Elphick's behavior came from a place of control and wanting to exert power, when my experience tells me that she may have been completely beyond control of herself. But the fact is, neither one of us knows that our interpretation is right.

The whole thing is fishy to me. If you listen to all the tape they have on both of them, neither one rings true. Both are playing the victim, but of what? Nothing all that bad happened to either of them.

It would be a great joke on us all if they were in on it together, staged the whole thing, and plan to split the "legal fees." I wonder if we'll ever know?
