That’s good information, Alicia. Unfortunately, income on this platform is sporadic, so many writers, who have never made more than $600 a year, get in the habit of not worrying about income tax. That’s the point of my story. As soon as you pass that point, you should make a payment, even if it’s only one time before the end of the year. Quarterly payments only make sense if you can be sure you’ll earn enough for it to matter. I was on the platform six months before I got to the point where I needed to think about taxes.
