That’s good advice, Rocco. I lived in the Bay Area for many years. My son still lives there. He’s a high school teacher so he earns slightly over $50,000. He lives frugally, has a roommate, but he has nothing extra for savings or emergencies. His car just got stolen for the second time in less than a year. The same car, which is a 2003 Crown Vic beater. He got it back undamaged the first time but I doubt anybody gets that lucky twice. He’s got plenty to complain about. If he made $300,000 a year, I’d be borrowing money from him!
