Thanks, Ryan. I discovered this a while ago. It really makes a difference. The example I use is that "A Bridge Too Far" is a great book and movie title but a bad headline. The headline might be "The Most Disasterous Allied Operation of World War II." Another good tip I picked up is that sometimes your subtitle ends up being the better headline, so try switching them. It often works better that way.
