Thanks for the comment, James. I have no problem with them ditching the twelve-page, full-color, laminated ones. A printed 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper is fine. What I don’t like is the assumption that everyone is happy to take out their phone, scan the code, and then fumble around scrolling to read the menu. I also imagine that some people who can afford modestly-priced fare at places like Friendly’s and Red Robin don’t have smart phones.
