Thanks for saying that about Slackjaw, Hogan. After several rejects, I gave up. It didn’t convince me I wasn’t funny, just that it wasn’t the right audience for my stuff. I think tailoring your material to your audience is key. So much of what makes us laugh is when we recognize a truth or see ourselves reflected back at us.
