Thank you for writing this, Tracey. A lot of people in the rest of the US hate California, because they think it’s all liberal. They refuse to visit because of this. It’s a shame because they are missing out on so much. I hope you got to visit the redwoods. I lived in California for many years and loved it. I’m in Pennsylvania now which has its own special charms. I am about to embark on a road trip around the New England States. There’s a great deal of natural beauty there, too.
