Some time during my drug experimentation phase I decided that heroin was a line I would never cross and I never have. I was fortunate enough to never have enough money to do a lot of coke because I almost certainly would have. I’m glad you survived to share your story. I recently read a memoir by the sister of one of my friends who was an addict and died from an overdose. Like you he had talent and wit, but for some reason, that wasn’t enough to save him. Where did all that pain come from?
