People have different values, needs, and priorities. If I work from home, and my neighbor has a two-hour commute, gasoline is a huge expense for her. We may each earn same amount but I get to keep more of mine. I don't get lunch out or need to buy "work clothes." If she has children and has to pay for daycare, toys, school clothes and supplies, etc., she's going to have to have even less disposable income than I do. Pets? Self-care? Therapy? Prescriptions? It's not realistic to expect people to see things through our eyes because they don't know what our lives are really like. The guy down the street might have a nice new truck because m the old one was totalled in an accident that killed his wife. I just try to be kind and accept kindness graciously in return.
