Our society promotes a messed up attitude about personal appearance, especially when it comes to women. The worst part is that those of us who, at 18, didn’t see ourselves as a “10”, were really quite beautiful and never got to enjoy it because we were focusing on what was “wrong” with the way we looked. Time again you hear about the famous beauties who are (or were) insecure about their looks. It seems the only joy that beauty imparts is truly in the eye of the beholder. Great stuff, Kathy. Thanks!
