One of the issues I have with Vocal+ is that some of the contests have corporate sponsors. In these cases, entries are subject to the corporate agenda of the sponsor, an extra hoop writers must jump through successfully to win. It's not always clear what that agenda might be, so a lot of people are wasting their time entering because there are unwritten rules at play.
