OMG, Crissi, that's horrible! I hosted a book club meeting where I had chosen the book and something similar happened. Nobody liked it. It was so awful, and one or two women (also on the shady side of 65), were so mean, I quit both the book club and the club of which it was a sub-group. I still get their mailings and everytime one shows up in the mailbox, I get PTSD. I cannot imagine how I would have felt if I had written the book. God bless you. That must have been rough.
