Oh, the heartbreak of massive external reads! I have been there and it does indeed suck. It also sucks to see top writers get fawning kudos for so so or regurgitated content. It’s a mistake to measure our success against others, especially those with cult followings. I guess we have to keep being ourselves and focus on our personal best efforts.
