Not all Christians write the same way or about the same thing. I’m a Christian, but I think bringing a Christian viewpoint into the conversation rather than providing what is considered straight-up Christian content is more effective in reaching a wider audience. If your story is overtly religious, you’re just preaching to the choir.

There’s another reason you don’t see that much religious content on Medium: it doesn’t sell well here. I did a story every day in February on the subject of love and I had one of the lowest monthly read counts in two years.
