My husband works in IT. He was out of work 3 years after the recession. Had dozens of interviews., but was always told he was "over qualified." He has a great jobnow with amazing benefits, so it worked out very well. (Not without a lot of turmoil first, though!) He worked in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania before landing this "keeper" job. No age issues in any of those states. Many of the people he works with now have been with the company over 30 years. They even give pensions!
