My husband and I are also long-haulers, Toya. Last month was our 39th anniversary. You certainly hit the highlights. For me, having someone warm next to me in bed is wonderful. I also love knowing that we’re both capable of making a vow and keeping it, no matter what. It’s not always easy, but for us, the pain has been worth the gain and then some.
