My dryer balls were a gift from my sister, although not for Christmas. What I think about your “belt and suspenders” approach is that you’re wasting your money on fabric softener! I haven’t bought the stuff for over two years. People use dryer balls to save money, reduce the exposure to the chemical soup of fabric softener, and lessen plastic container waste. Viva la balls! (The really do work great, folks.)
