My biggest pet peeve are the articles where the "author" reads a how to book or watches a MasterClass and then lists several key points. WTH? I just bought a copy of Stephen Kings "On Writing." I am not going to rip Mr. King off (even though he can well afford it) hanging on for dear life to his creepy coattails by writing something like that. It's just wrong IMHO. Oh, I know, I know, "Some people, Karen, can't afford to buy Stephen King's book." And yet they can afford to subscribe to Medium and spend hours a week spewing dreck on Medium for less than they could earn shopping with Ibotta. Right. Cry me a lullaby.
