Most of them don't bother me because, in most cases, the money isn't anything to brag about anyway. The majority of the "I made this much" articles are about making money writing things other than stories on Medium, anyway.

One guy wrote one with a click-baity headline where it turns out that he made the money working as a coder for Medium, not by writing stories. He suggested that I could do that, too, which gave me a much-needed belly laugh.

I think it's instructive to new people to read these. Some of them actually do contain some useful tips. They are also likely to get discouraged and quit when they realize this is not a get-rich-quick opportunity. Less competition for me. :)
