Many years ago I attended a Willie Nelson concert. The stage was covered with gifts from fans: flower arrangements, food, homemade items, you name it. It was like the stage was an altar and these were offerings to a god. I love Willie but I think he prefers fans just buy tickets. Most celebrities donate this stuff, give or throw it away. How does someone not realize this?
