I’ve read things by other writers saying things like “there are only five kinds of white people” (surprise, surprise, only one of them is okay) and “only white people can be racist.” We can’t combat racism with prejudice or ignorance. I’m guessing the writer who thinks only white people can be racists hasn’t spent much time in Japan, or looking in the mirror.
