I’ve made progress, Ruby. But one thing I’m glad I held on to. It’s the dress I wore on my 19th birthday, a beautiful white cotton from India embroidered with colorful flowers. I couldn’t fit into it for decades. After esophageal surgery, I lost a lot of weight. I was able to wear it again on my 65th birthday. It made me very happy.
