I’ve enjoyed writing for Illumination because they don’t reject anything I write and they usually publish it on the same day that I submit it. Some publications put up so many hoops to jump through that I don’t even bother. (I’m looking at you, GEN.) That said, only one of my stories published in Illumination has been curated by Medium. There’s another publication that publishes everything I write for it. Whatever I publish there gets curated by Medium. I mean it, every single story. Why? I suspect it’s difficult to fill the subject area quota. My stories in this other publication are also the only ones that earn a decent income. Go figure.
