I've always thought the trend toward seniors only housing and communities was a bad idea. Seniors should not be warehoused away from the rest of society. Not only do they miss out on being a part of the community at large, they become insensitive to the needs and concerns of others. This is reflected in how they vote. Funding for public schools is notoriously low in states with a high percentage of seniors like Florida and Arizona.
