I’ve always thought it would be interesting to time travel to meet my parents when they were younger. They were both good people and overachievers but they never bragged about themselves or discussed anything too personal.

There’s that FB meme about “who (living or dead) would you want to talk to for an hour?” Most people mention a parent who has passed. The thing is, there’s no guarantee they’d tell you anything now that they wouldn’t when they were alive. Maybe if they were a teen and saw you as just another teen, not their child, you could find out more. I hope there is an afterlife and we get to act out some of these what ifs.
