It’s difficult to imagine that Mary developed Stockholm Syndrome over such a short period of time. It seems to me that she didn’t feel their punishment was just because she hadn’t been badly abused. She felt responsible for their suffering because her wealth lured them to do what they did. It’s a sad story, but thanks for sharing it.
