It doesn’t help that many job postings are just for show. There is no job. Companies do this to look good to investors (hiring indicates growth) and to scare current workers to work harder. When you see the company posting job openings that sound exactly like your job, you get nervous. I read where 30% of Fortune 500 companies admit to using fake job postings and 70% of HR managers surveyed said they saw nothing unethical about doing so.
