I’m terribly sorry that happened to you, Wil. I desperately wanted to be a child star. I did local theatre and was always pestering my mom to take me the 90 miles into NYC for Broadway auditions. My parents had a store open 7 days a week and four other kids. They couldn’t if they wanted to and they didn’t want to. I’m grateful things worked out the way they did. In the late 1960s, NYC was very dirty and dangerous.
