I’m sorry about your health struggles, Jenn. Every time they mess with the algorithm, someone ends up on the short end. It’s happened to many of us. For each of my first two years on Medium, I made enough to pay my property taxes. I was consistently earning at least $100 a month. I now have more than double the followers, but the last few months, I’m lucky to bag $10. It doesn’t matter how well you write, or even what you write about. We don’t have access to how the decisions are made about who or what will be supported or ignored.
