I’m in Creator Hell because I’m no longer making money. In both 2020 and 2021, I made enough to cover my property taxes. I wasn’t exactly crushing it, but it was worthwhile. This month, I’ll be lucky to make $12. I like writing on Medium because I can write whatever I want. Over a year ago, I wrote a story that’s pulled in over $2,600 so far. This convinced me it was possible for me to do well here, but lately, it’s been discouraging.
